Meh to Marvelous Transformation: Day 23

In today’s “Meh to Marvelous” transformation post, Michelle talks about some quality time she spent with her girls and the neighborhood kids. She shares her experience about getting to feel like a kid again sometimes as a parent. Being a parent isn’t all fun and games, though. Michelle explains how she sees her role as a mom. She sees challenging situations as opportunities to teach her kids.

What’s your biggest challenge right now? What’s the real opportunity in this situation? This isn’t about putting on rose-colored glasses or any of that nonsense. This is about changing the way you see the world. There will always be things in front of you that you don’t like. You can focus on not liking them, or you can focus on something else. By the end of coaching, most clients choose to see every situation as an opportunity (easier for some people than others). It’s way more fun and much more practical. So why not?

“Michelle came to me because she was looking to make some huge changes in her life and kickstart her new business. She’s an experienced florist living in a major city and she is totally devoted to her kids, including a daughter with special needs. Michelle’s motivation to start her own business stemmed from her desire to spend more time with her daughters. She’s keeping a video diary of her progress in this 90-day Meh to Marvelous transformation.
